What we NEED are Congress men/women doing what the Founders expected and jealously guarding their prerogative to declare war. And governors telling DOD to FOAD if they think they’re going to deploy citizens from their states without following the Constitution. An AUMF is an unconstitutional end-around that Constitution for which every congressdope who voted for it, and a president who deploys force based on it, immediately would be removed from office by a mature country for violating their oath to the constitution by attacking it.
