Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman Is Shocked By Support for Donald Trump In the Keystone State
Trump is poised for a big victory in Pennsylvania.
Despite working to elect Vice President Kamala Harris, Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman is in awe over the level of support that former President Donald Trump is receiving in the Keystone State.
With 19 electoral votes, Pennsylvania is viewed as the most important battleground state for both candidates to pick up.
Fetterman concedes that Trump has a special connection with Pennsylvania voters. The Pennsylvania Senator told the New York Times the following:
“There’s a difference between not understanding, but also acknowledging that it exists. And anybody who spends time driving around, and you can see the intensity. It’s astonishing.
I was doing an event in Indiana County. Very, very red. And there was a superstore of Trump stuff, and it was a hundred feet long, and it was dozens of T-shirts and hats and bumper stickers and all kinds of, I mean, it’s like, Where does this all come from? It’s the kind of thing that has taken on its own life. And it’s like something very special exists there. And that doesn’t mean that I admire it. It’s just — it’s real."
"Now Musk is joining him. I mean, to a lot of people, that’s [Marvel Comics Iron Man billionaire alter-ego] Tony Stark. That’s the world’s richest guy. And he’s obviously and undeniably a brilliant guy, and he’s saying, 'Hey, that’s my guy for president.' That’s going to really matter,” Fetterman continued.
The Pennsylvania race on November 5, 2024 will be a complete dogfight. In recent years, the state has been decided by razor thin margins. For example, in 2020, current President Joe Biden eked out victory in the Keystone State by a slim 50% to 48.8% margin.
So far, RealClearPolitics polling has Trump leading by a narrow 48.4% to 47.6% margin. This race will be going down to the wire. Trump and co. should do everything possible to talk about populist issues such as opposing mass migration, getting tough on crime, and imposing tariffs to activate white working class voters.
America First nationalism, not milquetoast Republican Party politics, will win the day in Pennsylvania.
It will be “Too Big To Rig!”🙏 https://substack.com/profile/46875158-vince-guerra/note/c-73287587?r=16o2xp&utm_medium=ios&utm_source=notes-share-action
Whether you like John Fetterman or not I have noticed that he at least as common sense and isn’t as jaded as those people who have been in office for many years. I hope that he keeps his common sense for the long run and it isn’t beaten out of him as he goes through the political system
