God damn it! I hope they regroup. Is opposing immigration now a New York State crime?

Low-IQ moron and front for Jewish power Letitia James didn't accuse them of opposing immigration, rather of running afoul of the strict rules that apply to non-profits in terms of personal use of its assets and bank accounts. It seems that one of the rules for nonprofits is that the Attorney General can step in and demand an intrusive investigation of the records upon merely an accusation.

What does VDARE have to do with NY State?

They're incorporated as a nonprofit in NY State....first mistake, putting yourself in a jurisdiction filled with hostiles (blacks, Jews, leftists). They should have picked some virtually all-white Republican state like Idaho, Wyoming, etc. Even if you don't live there, you can use a registered agent headquartered there to qualify as being registered in a given state for like $100 a year.

White people deserve free speech too!

Thank you, I wasn't familiar with this organization. I have never heard that a nonprofit cannot buy a property unless it uses a bank loan to do so. Is that unique to NY? To James??

I really don't think that was the issue. Rather, it's claims that the directors of VDARE used its bank account for personal expenses, that they used the nonprofit's property to live in, (again, personal use). The concept is abusing the status of a nonprofit as some kind of loophole to merely avoid paying taxes on your own lifestyle. That's merely the claim, anyway. I'm in no way saying that's what they did. But I will say that if you view nonprofit status as some kind of huge advantage to running your outfit, realize you'd better be SUPER TIGHT on all your accounting and business practices and should probably have them handled by nonprofit experts, for exactly this reason. Nonprofit status comes with a level of scrutiny that's orders of magnitude higher than a mere LLC or similar business type.
