Thomas Massie Wins Re-Election Easily

Massie is Congress’ only America First Representative.

On November 5, 2024, Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie won his re-election bid for Kentucky’s 4th congressional district. This district is located in northern Kentucky.

Massie won his primary against two Republican challengers by picking up an overwhelming 75.9% of the vote. Since being elected in 2012, Massie has been one of the strongest supporters of a non-interventionist foreign policy, sound money, and gun rights in Congress. In many respects, he is the spiritual successor of former Texas Congressman Ron Paul, a libertarian Republican who built a career as the most contrarian voice in Washington DC. 

Massie has built a reputation for opposing the Israel lobby and even surviving the attacks from Zionist groups such as AIPAC. Unlike his Republican counterparts, he believes that the US should not be subsidizing Israel economically and militarily. This is in line with his libertarian philosophy where he believes that the US should retrench from foreign affairs and stop subsidizing all foreign countries. 

Masie is a breath of fresh air in a chamber filled with individuals advocating for petty forms of statism and engaging in outright treasonous activity. Let’s hope that Massie can convert his electoral successes to building a pro-liberty machine that wins at the local, state, and eventually federal level.

US politics simply needs more Thomas Massies.
