Trump's Secretary of State Choice Marco Rubio Admits Ukraine Has No Chance to Win War Against Russia
Rubio believes continuous aid to Ukraine is not sustainable.
U.S. Senator Marco Rubio, Donald Trump’s choice for Secretary of State, said to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Wednesday that Ukraine will not be defeating Russia in their ongoing war.
“I think it should be the official position of the United States that this war should be brought to an end,” he said.
“There is no way Russia takes all of Ukraine,” Rubio said. “That’s not going to happen.”
“There’s no way Ukraine is also going to push these people all the way back to where they were,” he added.
Rubio said that the biggest problem for Ukraine war efforts is that they are “running out of Ukrainians” as coke-fiend midget Volodymyr Zelensky has sent so many to the front lines to die to protect his globalist-backed rule.
Rubio’s comments can be seen here.
Even though the war effort is futile, that has not stopped the U.S. from dumping continual aid toward Ukraine to elongate the fighting as part of their proxy war against Russia, as Big League Politics has reported:
“The Biden administration will be appropriating an additional $500 million for Ukraine to further fuel the conflict with Russia, taking advantage of this lame duck period as Donald Trump is set to be inaugurated as next President in just 11 days.
Biden Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin made the announcement during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany. Austin made the case that the welfare and the weapons must continue to flow to Ukraine during the next administration.
"If Putin swallows Ukraine, his appetite will only grow," Austin said. "If autocrats conclude that democracies will lose their nerve, surrender their interests, and forget their principles, we will only see more land grabs. If tyrants learn that aggression pays, we will only invite even more aggression, chaos, and war."
Following this transfer, Trump will able to give $3.85 billion in future arms shipments to Ukraine through the presidential drawdown authority (PDA), which depletes U.S. reserves to send to foreigners. Zelensky is lobbying hard to keep getting the assistance he needs to prop up his nation’s doomed war effort when Trump is in office.
As per the agreement, the U.S. will transfer fighter jet missiles, support equipment for F-16 fighter jets and armored vehicle-launched bridge weapons as well as small arms, spare parts, and communications apparel to Ukraine.”
Even though Rubio has been known as a neocon, his comments on the Russia/Ukraine conflict are refreshing and show that the Trump administration is going to dial back on U.S. support for the war effort.
