Thomas Massie Agrees With Glenn Greenwald That There is a Permanent Bureaucracy Running the US Government
The Deep state reigns supreme.
After Joe Biden stepped down from his presidential campaign on July 21, 2024, questions have surfaced about his viability as acting president of the United States. It’s an open secret that Biden’s mental acuity and declining health prompted Democratic insiders to launch a de facto coup against his presidential bid.
Nearly two months after this political earthquake, Biden appears to be a complete afterthought in American political discourse. For all we know, he could be on vacation for an extended period of time or even on his way to hit the bucket.
One thing is clear though: US presidents have become afterthoughts in this current political order dominated by an unelected bureaucracy. Independent journalist Glenn Greenwald even pointed out in a tweet that he posted on September 9, 2024, that “The US has no functional president and has not had one for months, and it's barely noticeable and barely matters because there's a permanent unelected machine that runs the government.”
Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie, a fierce critic of the Deep State, agreed with Greenwald’s observation, asking “Where’s the lie?”
Since being elected in 2012, Massie has a long history of opposing the administrative state, never-ending wars, and central banking. He is an outlier in a political class dominated by parasitic politicians who are enamored with preserving the US empire at all costs.
Indeed, the US has gone from a humble, constitutional republic to a bloated administrative state that is no longer accountable to voters. It doesn’t help that it pursues imperial ventures abroad.
Such a system is anathema to the Founding Fathers’ vision of a limited government. It also goes to show that no matter who wins, the Deep State always wins. In light of these harsh realities, it cannot be stressed how important it is for a proper right-wing nationalist government implementing serious reforms to completely downsize the administrative state. By sticking the knife to this unruly bureaucratic beast, the US can at least move towards a state of normalcy.
Why can’t politicians like Thomas Massie Marjorie Taylor Greene Jim Jordan. There are some others. The ones you hear their names being mentioned time and time again. The ones you know well by name because they are working hard for we the people. Now we the people have work to do. We need to support President Trump Robert Kennedy Tulsi Gabbard and others that have formed to make the largest group of individuals in history to take on the biggest internal threat to our country maybe ever!
