The Biden Regime Is Relaxing Immigration Policies Before Trump Assumes Office
Joe Biden’s cabal wants to leave Donald Trump a nasty parting gift
According to a report by The New York Post, the Biden regime has been surreptitiously enacting new polices that will relax restrictions on migrants who came to the United States illegally.
This move can be viewed as a way for Democrats to leave the incoming Trump administration a nasty stink bomb that will spoil his attempts to carry out mass deportations and other crackdowns on immigration.
Apparently, New York City will be the epicenter for these changes in immigration policy. The Biden regime plans to roll out an ICE Portal application beginning in early December in New York City that will let migrants to circumvent in-person check-ins to their local ICE office.
According to Homeland Security sources, the application will facilitate migrants’ ability to escape immigration enforcement authorities partly due to how the software has been rife with glitches and proven to be unreliable.
The sources added that the new app doesn’t look for previous arrests or outstanding warrants. Roughly 100,000 migrants will be enrolled in the first phase of the program.
This is apparently one of several programs being rammed through before Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20, 2025. One of these initiatives would allow immigrants to challenge government orders to go through electronic surveillance as they await their immigration appointments.
ICE’s New York City field office is already being overwhelmed by several several illegal aliens slithering around the streets of the Big Apple.
As of early 2023, the ICE office was already “fully booked through October 2032” for appointments to process migrants let loose into the American interior, per an official document that the New York Post looked over.
Over 223,000 migrants have arrived in the city since the migrant crisis kicked off. Over 58,000 are still being supported on the taxpayer dime in city-funded shelters, per a recent report from City Hall.
On top of that, the Biden regime is trying to surreptitiously ram through relaxed regulations on its electronic surveillance of released illegal aliens, such as its use of ankle bracelets, via ICE’s “Alternatives to Detention” program.
The proposed changes will grant migrants new abilities that will “allow them to contest monitoring and tracking,” a source stated.
If the program is fully enacted, migrants will be allowed to “request a review at any time” and demand that monitoring be either downgraded or scrapped entirely.
The Biden regime is clearly trying to leave the incoming Trump administration with a massive migration problem on its hands. Trump and co. should proceed as usual and do everything possible to restrict migration — both legal and illegal.
This will not be an easy task. As a result, Congress will have to step up to the plate and push Trump further right on this issue.
