Texas Governor Greg Abbott Criticizes the Biden Regime’s Border Crisis

Texas is at the frontline of the collapsing border situation

During the Republican National Convention, Texas Governor Greg Abbott boldly proclaimed before delegates at the Republican National Convention and a television audience that the Biden regime’s border crisis has had a nasty impact on Texas and the rest of the United States. Abbott’s convention speech came on the same night that Senator J.D. Vance was nominated as Vice President of the United States for the Republican Party.

In his speech that he gave at the Republican National Convention on July 17, 2024, Abbott told the crowd that Texas is on the frontline defending the southern border with Mexico as President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have completely abandoned any semblance of border security. 

“Biden deserted his duty on his first day in office,” Abbott declared. “He gutted President Trump’s policies, and the result has been catastrophic.”

After multiple attempts Abbott made to get President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris to travel to the Texas Border, Abbott informed convention participants that he opted to bring the border situation to them. Abbott spearheaded the voluntary busing of illegal aliens to Washington, D.C., and other sanctuary cities nationwide.

“When Joe Biden and Kamala Harris refused to even come to Texas to see the border crisis, I took the border to them,” the governor commented. “Texas has bused over 119,700 illegal immigrants to sanctuary cities across the country. We have continued busing migrants to sanctuary cities all across the country. Those buses will continue to roll until we finally secure our border.”

Abbott detailed how his office carried out the deployment of thousands of Texas National Guardsmen and DPS troopers to the border region as a response to the Biden regime’s intentional move to reverse the successful policies put in place by President Donald Trump. Abbott said the National Guard set up hundreds of miles of razor wire along the border.

“They (National Guardsmen) built those barriers to stop illegal crossings,” Abbott detailed. “When Joe Biden ordered (Border Patrol) to cut that razor wire, I ordered the National Guard to triple the razor wire on the border.”

Abbott continued by noting that voters can pull the lever for Donald Trump in November in order to restore order at the southern border with Mexico.

“And, come January, Donald Trump will again be our President,” Abbott said in a concluding remark. “He will enforce our immigration laws, fight the Mexican drug cartels, and arrest criminal illegal immigrants. It’s time to restore order at the border.”

There’s a crisis at the southern border and anyone who denies this is in complete denial. This is not some policy inconvenience. The border crisis and the broader immigration question will determine the overall course of US history from here and out. 

If we fail to get this situation sorted out, the US will be well on the path of transforming into a multi-racial open air prison that would make the Founding Fathers roll over in their graves. Let’s not bequeath our posterity a civilizational hellscape.
