Pro-Gun Group Attacks Vice Presidential Pick Tim Walz for Anti-Gun Track Record

Walz will be another faithful servant for Gun Control Inc

On August 6, 2024, the National Association for Gun Rights criticized Vice Presidential pick Tim Walz.

NAGR cited the Minnesota Governors anti-gun track record of signing gun control and using his office to promote several gun control measures.

“Harris picked her ideological twin in gun grabber Walz. There is no daylight between Harris and Walz when it comes to so-called ‘Assault Weapon’ bans and any other extreme gun control measure you can think of,” declared Dudley Brown, president of NAGR. “Harris and Walz want to strip the Second Amendment from the Constitution and make law-abiding Americans criminals with their anti-gun agenda.”

In a press release, NAGR noted that Walz signed universal background checks and  “Red Flag” confiscation measures into law in Minnesota.

Walz has also pushed for so-called “Assault Weapon” prohibitions and has received support from gun control organization Everytown for Gun Safety, who celebrated him as their “2023 State Level Gun Sense Lawmaker of Year.”

“The message this VP pick sends is loud and clear, Harris-Walz are coming for your guns and an ‘Assault Weapon’ ban is on the top of their agenda,” Brown said in a concluding remote.

Walz is another interchangeable politician that Gun Control Inc. uses to advance its anti-American agenda of destroying the Second Amendment. Minnesota is not a state receptive to gun freedoms. For example, Guns and Ammo magazine’s Best State for Gun Owners rankings placed it in the 39th spot.

With a Harris/Walz ticket, one could be certain that the Second Amendment will be an afterthought. For that reason, American voters must do everything possible to relieve these two individuals of the burden of holding public office.
