Michigan Voters Believe the United States Economy Is In Bad Shape
Battleground state voters are getting pummeled by the Biden regime's economic policies.
Michigan is one of the key battleground states that former President Donald Trump will need to win in the 2024 presidential election.
Thanks to the Biden regime’s economic policies, voters in Michigan are hurting economically and they’re ready to take out their frustrations at the ballot box.
“If you turn on your TV in this state, you cannot avoid it,” declared Edward Montgomery, president of Western Michigan University. “This is definitely an in-play state, and this election lets you know how intensely in-play it is.”
According to the most recent polls, Harris is only leading by Trump by a 0.4% points — well within the margin of error.
Another factor at play behind the incredibly competitive nature of the Michigan race is the Arab-American voting bloc that is angered by the Biden regime’s support for Israel in the Gaza ethnic cleansing campaign.
The Biden regime has tried to subsidize Michigan’s ailing industrial sector to little avail. On top of that, Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris has promised to fight price gouging in an effort to cater to disgruntled working class voters in Michigan and other parts of the Rust Belt.
According to a recent poll published by the Detroit Regional Chamber. 47% of registered voters believed the state’s economy was on the “wrong track.” By contrast, 43% hold a more optimistic perspective.. In a similar vein, the New York Times-Siena poll of likely voters in Michigan discovered 55% trusted Trump more on economic matters versus 42% for Harris.
Michigan voters have been negatively impacted by the notable price increases that have occurred under the Biden regime’s watch. For example, expenses related to housing have increased by 36% since Joe Biden was installed in office in January 2021. Similarly, grocery prices have surged by 25% in the last tour years.
Michigan is one of the most critical battleground states in the nation. In 2020, Joe Biden barely defeated Trump in Michigan. Biden edged the former president by a vote of 50.6% to 47.8% margin.
Trump can easily win this state by campaigning on an unapologetic platform of economic nationalism, immigration restriction, and resisting anti-white hate. Basically, an America First approach is enough for Trump to win the state.
