Michigan Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib Refuses to Endorse Kamala Harris
Harris is such a hateable candidate
Michigan Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib has refused to endorse President Kamala Harris. During a United Auto Workers rally in Detroit on November 1, 2024, Tlaib did not opt to endorse Harris as Election Day approaches on November 5.
The Democratic elected official called on union members to vote but mostly focused her speech on down-ballot races. Tlaib is of Palestinian extraction and has been one of the most vocal critics of the Biden regime’s Israel policy. She is the only member of the Squad to not support Harris.
The Israel-Gaza conflict has been a sensitive issue in the battleground state of Michigan, where over 100,000 voters cast ballots as “uncommitted” in Michigan’s primary earlier in 2024, which has made many Democratic analysts worried about Harris’ electoral prospects in the state. Harris continues facing criticism on the campaign trail, as pro-Palestinian protesters call for her break ranks with President Joe Biden and push for an arms embargo against Israel.
BLP has previously reported on Muslim mayors in Michigan such as the Muslim Mayor of Hamtramck Amer Ghalib and the Muslim Mayor of Dearborn Heights Abdullah Hammoud have endorsed Donald Trump. There’s a clear realignment taking place based on Trump’s working class, masculine appeal combined with the Democratic Party’s troubles with its pro-Palestinian constituencies makes victory in Michigan a distinct possibility.
After all, Joe Biden barely won Michigan by a 50.6% to 47.8% margin in 2020. So this race is very much up for grabs. And wouldn't it be hilarious if Tlaib and her Muslim and Arab compatriots stab Harris in the back and let Trump coast to victory in Michigan.
Well that shows she has some common sense when it comes to that subject.
