MAKING HISTORY: Donald Trump is First President Ever to Use Bitcoin to Complete Transaction
Trump is the Bitcoin President.
On Wednesday, Donald Trump became the first man ever elected as U.S. President to pay for a transaction using Bitcoin - another historical feat achieved by DJT.
Trump bought burgers and beers for hungry and thirsty patrons at PubKey, a crypto-friendly restaurant located in Manhattan, prior to his rally in Long Island.
“I just made the first transaction in Bitcoin,” Trump said as the crowd cheered.
Trump has taken a keen interest in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in recent months, as Big League Politics has reported:
"President Donald Trump declared that he will make America the “Bitcoin superpower of the world” once he put back in the White House in November.
“I’m proud to be the first major party nominee in American history to accept donations in Bitcoin and crypto, and they’ve made a lot of them, I might tell you, and I appreciate it,” President Trump said during his address at the Bitcoin 2024 conference in Nashville.
“If they win this election, every one of you will be gone. They will be vicious, they will be ruthless, they will do things that you wouldn’t believe,” Trump added, noting that “175 million people in some form are involved in this world of crypto, Bitcoin, and all of the others.”
Trump also called for the U.S. to start stockpiling Bitcoin as a way to protect the economic power of the country to ward off economic and monetary peril.
“It will be the policy of my administration to keep 100 percent of all bitcoin the US government currently holds or acquires in the future … as a core of the strategic national bitcoin stockpile,” he said.
Trump also made it clear that “there will never be a CBDC while I’m president of the United States.”
“I will always defend the right to self-custody… The moment I am sworn in, the persecution stops and the weaponization against your industry ends,” Trump said.
Trump has leaders in the Republican Party who support him wholeheartedly on his agenda in favor of Bitcoin and crypto, including Senator Cynthia Lummis (R-WY).
Lummis has been working on a Bitcoin reserve bill that President Trump is now championing, believing that it “is our Louisiana Purchase moment” and her proposal would “the bitcoin President Trump just mentioned and pull it into the reserve—[and] that’s only the beginning.”
“Over five years, the United States will assemble 1 million bitcoin,” she said, “Five percent of the world’s bitcoin, and it will be held for a minimum of 20 years and can be used for one purpose—reduce our debt.”'
If Trump fully embraces Bitcoin and crypto, he can defeat the monetary powers that are behind the deep state and much of the corruption that is destroying the U.S. He needs to embrace Bitcoin and crypto to make America great again.
