Biden Regime Wants To Give Ukraine a Big Fat Loan To Continue War With Russia
Project Ukraine is an exercise in futility.
The United States still has plans to participate in a G7 fundraising campaign despite the European Union’s failure to agree to the Biden regime's request for guarantees that Russia’s assets will remain frozen in the bloc.
The Group of Seven is a political and economic consortium of the world’s most economically vibrant liberal democracies (Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, United Kingdom, and United States.)
US and EU officials informed the Financial Times that the Biden regime is preparing to team up to send a $50 billion loan to Ukraine. G7 leaders agreed to this arrangement back in June even without making an extension to the EU sanctions period.
Tne EU and the US are scrambling to send this aid package in anticipation of a potential Trump presidency. Former President Donald Trump has signaled his willingness to cut aid to Ukraine and reach a negotiated settlement between the Russians and Ukrainians.
Under the G7 agreement, the whole $50 billion loan would be repaid by profits generated from Russian central bank assets frozen in the Collective West as a response to Russia’s war in Ukraine, the bulk of which is held in the EU.
Initially, officials held talks about the US and EU pitching in $20 billion each, with Canada, Japan, and the UK providing the remaining $10 billion. However, the US initially made its involvement contingent on changes to the EU sanctions package to guarantee the nearly $230 billion in Russian state assets remain frozen in the bloc for a minimum period of three year.s
On October 9, 2024, Hungary vetoed this policy change. This compelled the European Commission to draw up an alternative plan of raising up to $38 billion against the bloc’s common budget — such a move only requires the support of a majority of EU member states.
This is just another financial scheme designed to prolong the Russo-Ukrainian conflict. Russia has clear escalatory dominance in this theater and is continuing to make progress in Ukraine. By sending more aid to Ukraine, the Collective West is only prolonging the inevitable and guaranteeing further bloodshed.
If the West really cared about protecting Ukraine’s territorial integrity, it would do everything possible to cut off military aid to it and encourage it to reach a negotiated settlement with Russia.
How much money is Biden's crime family getting back on each of these deals?
